ENGLAND VS PAKISTAN 3RD TEST MATCH 2020 DAY NO 1

England VS Pakistan 3rd test has started today at The Rose Bowl stadium in Southampton from 3.30 p.m. (Ist). England Cricket team won the toss & elected to bat first as the wicket looks handy for batting. ENGLAND’S playing xi- Rory Burns, Dominic Sibley, Zak Crawley, Joe Root, Ollie Pope, Jos Buttler (WK), Chris Woakes, Dominic Bees, Jofra Archer, Stuart Broad & James Anderson. Pakistan’s playing xi- Shan Masood, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Fawad Alam, Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Yasir Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Afridi& Naseem Shah. For England has come in for Sam Curran & Pakistan is playing with the same xi as the last match. 

PAKISTAN’S FIRST BREAKTHROUGH 

Shaheen Shah Afridi the opener bowler of Pakistan gave the first breakthrough by sending Rory Burns pavilion, it was a length delivery outside off & took the edge of Burns went straight to Shan Masood who didn’t make it any mistake in the 4th slip. 

BEFORE & AFTER DRINKS SUMMERY IN ENGLAND VS PAKISTAN

By the drinks, 13 overs were played & England was looking comfortable on the wicket playing opponent’s bowlers with ease. They added 48 runs with the loss of one wicket. After adding 50 runs for the second wicket Zak Crawley & Dominic Sibley got broken when Yasir shah trapped Sibley in front of the wicket. By lunch, England was 91/2. Zak Crawley was looking great with 49 runs. It seemed like he started from where he left in the last match. In 2nd match of the series, Crawley smashed a half-century. After the lunch, Naseem Shah struck for the first time by taking skipper Joe Root’s edge with a good length delivery. He departed for 29. England was 114/3. Just after Root, Yasir Shah struck again, this time he bowled Ollie Pope. 

BROAD 5TH TEST PARTNERSHIP 

Crawley was batting really well with English Wicket-Keeper Jos Buttler. They added 50 runs for the 5th wicket England was 177/4, England didn’t lose composure & kept batting well They both seemed confident & self-assured. Zak Crawley made his maiden international century against a good Pakistani bowling line-up off 171 balls & 11 fours. The 16 runs over from Yashir Shah took their partnership past 100 runs. Jos Buttler scored an excellent fifty off 86 balls, which was the 19th of his test career. Crawley gradually fabricated his inning of 150. Pakistan’s bowling was struggling to get a wicket, while England was moving to a massive score with the run rate of 3.60. Buttler& Crawley added 150 runs partnership in 79th over. At the end of the 90th over which was the last over of day 1 their partnership extended to 200 & England’s score was 332.
