When we contemplate bowling in T20I cricket, we have to mention the names of the Indian bowlers. Few Indian bowlers are the assets of all three formats. These bowlers have all virtues of a competent T20 bowler like slower deliveries, yorkers, bouncers for pacers and arm ball, pace variations for spinners. India’s 2021 T20 World Cup campaign will begin on 24th October with the clash against Pakistan. Let’s have a look at the bowlers with the most wickets for India in the T20 World Cup.

Ravichandran Ashwin

Veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has taken the most wickets for India in the T20 World Cup with 26 wickets in 18 matches. Ashwin is also the 3rd highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is. The Indian management dropped Ashwin from T20s in 2017 and after a couple of good IPL years he has made it to the Indian squad for this year’s T20 WC. 4 for 11 in the group stage match against Australia in 2014 T20 WC is the best performance in the event so far.

Ravindra Jadeja

One of the best all-rounders of the current era, Ravindra Jadeja has taken 21 wickets in 22 T20 World Cup matches, which is 2nd most by any Indian in the T20 World Cup history. Jadeja is a defensive bowler who is a bit tough to smack for the batsmen.
