NEW ZEALAND BECAME NO 1 IN ICC TEST RANKING AFTER CRUSHING PAKISTAN BY 2-0

New Zealand became no 1 in ICC test ranking after crushing Pakistan by 2-0 at Hagley Oval, Christchurch on Wednesday, January 6th.

On the final day of the 2nd test match, New Zealand bundled Pakistan at 186 runs. Ferocious fast bowler Kyle Jamieson registered his 4th fifer in his 6th match. He has been the find of the New Zealand team. In just  6 matches 36 matches. New Zealand hammered Pakistan by an innings and 176 runs. 

New Zealand had 116 ratings before the series but now they have gained 2 more ratings and reached at no 1 position. 

New Zealand Became No 1 In ICC Test Ranking

New Zealand has won 3 consecutive home series against India, West Indies, and Pakistan. With this series win, New Zealand has got 120 more World Test Championship Points. Kiwis are currently at third place on the point table with a 0.70 win percentile. While Australia is at the top, having a 0.767 win percentage, and India at the 2nd spot with a 0.722 win percentile.

The top two teams on the point table will play the final at Lord’s. So New Zealand’s berth in the final depends on their upcoming test series definitely and also how India and Australia perform in their next matches and series.
