Paul Stirling
Irish batsman Paul Stirling holds 5th place on the list of amassing the most runs in the T20 international. He is the backbone of the Ireland team. His career is of 12 years as of 2021 (2009-2022). He played his first T20 international match against Pakistan in 2009. At a strike rate of 135.20, Stirling has made 3491 runs in 137 games.
Aaron Finch
Current Australian white-ball captain Aaron Finch seals 6th position in accumulating the most runs in the T20s. He is the second Australian on the list. Finch is regarded as one of the best white-ball cricketers in Australia. Finch made his T20 debut in 2011 against England. He has the second-best strike rate among the top 10 run-getters of T20s. Maintaining the highest strike rate of 142.5, Finch has amassed 3120 runs in 103 games.
David Warner
David Warner has amassed 3099 runs in 103 matches which is the 7th most in T20 international. He is one of the best openers in the world currently. Warner played his first international T20 in 2009 against South Africa. It’s been 11 years since Warner has been playing and his tremendous batting has rewarded him the chance to play the biggest franchise T20 league in the World (IPL).
Mohammad Rizwan
The rising star of Pakistan cricket, Mohammad Rizwan is featured in 8th place on the most runs in T20 international tally. Having played 92 matches, Rizwan has amassed 3048 runs in T20I at a staggering average of 49.96, while his strike rate remained at 127.42. Rizwan has a huge contribution to Pakistan’s great show in international cricket in T20s.
Jos Buttler
The latest T20 World Cup-winning captain, Jos Buttler has made a cut to 9th position on the elite list of most runs in t20 internationals. Buttler made his T20I debut in 2011 and since then there is no looking back. Buttler exhibited his ruthless and daring batting to the world and has made 2927 runs in 114 matches at an impressive strike rate of 144.61. The trailblazer from England got 225 runs in 6 matches which turned into one of the reasons for England winning the 2022 T20 World Cup.
Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson is the 10th-highest run-scorer (2547) in T20 cricket. Williamson has been absolutely phenomenal throughout the years in this format like other formats. He has been playing T20 cricket since 2011. Along with making 2547 runs in 87 innings, the veteran has taken 44 catches.
