The 2021 T20 World Cup is around the corner and one question is emerging in everyone’s mind that who might be the winner of the upcoming 2021 T20 World Cup?

First of all, we must not forget that this year T20 World Cup is gonna occur in UAE and Oman due to serious Covid conditions in India. And the pitches in UAE and Oman will be quite the same as India, dry and slow wickets, where spinners will play a crucial part. The ball will come slowly on the UAE and Oman wickets after 5-6 overs.

If we talk about the spinners, then definitely India has the best spin lineup in the world regardless of any format of the game. They have got plenty of options like Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, etc. you even can’t ignore England in terms of spin bowling, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali have been their important players in the shortest format of the game. Even Pakistan has its own advantage as they have played a lot of cricket, especially in UAE. Recently, West Indies has also shown quality spin bowling as they defeated Australia by 4-1 in the home T20 series, Indies have got outcome in form of Hayden Walsh and Fabian Allen.

When it comes to batting and all-rounders, England comes first in your mind, as at least 8 players of their team can bat, so they also have a decent amount of chance of lifting the trophy for the 2nd time. India is even not far in this criteria, their batting depth is unimaginable. Hardik, Virat, Rohit, Rahul, Pant- they can take the game away from you at any moment. How can you forget about two champions West Indies, they are the most unpredictable team, have the capability of beating any team at any time in T20 cricket, Gayle, Lewis, Russell, Pooran, Pollard- they all are beasts and hardest hitters of the ball. The inaugural winner of the World Test Championship is also in contention under these requirements, Guptill, Blundell, Williamson, Glenn Phillip are world-class batters. You even can’t ignore the Pakistan team, after the year Babar and Rizwan have had so far in T20 cricket.

For the first bowlers, variation is gonna be the key to take wickets in the event keeping the slow pitches in mind. Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar, Boult, Rabada, Archer, Afridi, Mustafizur are the seamers to watch out for the ultimate T20 event of the year.

So if you consider all the measures which are required to win the tournament, then definitely India, West Indies, England, and Pakistan/New Zealand might be the semi-finalist. While India and England are remaining the favorites to win following their domination in the format.
