34 year old Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur has been traded to Mumbai Indians from Lucknow Supergiants for the IPL 2026 for INR 2 cr in a all cash deal. Shardul was bought as a replacement by Lucknow in the 2024 IPL and he took only five wickets in nine games at 9.75 economy. Shardul not only can bowl but play some decent strokes as well with the bat, making him a good choice for Mumbai.
