Proteas middle order batter Matthew Breetzke Made history in ODI cricket, becoming the first player to score five fifty or more runs in his first five matches. He scored 85 off just 77 deliveries in the second ODI against England at the Lord's which was crucial for the visitors to win the match by 5 runs at the end.

Breetzke hit a sensational 150 off 148 balls in Lahore against New Zealand on debut in February, 2025. While his next three fifties (83, 57 & 88) came against Pakistan and Australia respectively.
