Former Indian all-rounder Roger Binny Stepped down from the position of BCCI President on Wednesday according to some sources of Dainik Jagaran. Former chairperson of the IPL, Rajeev Shukla has taken charge as interim president until the next election helps in September, 2025.
Binny had to resign from the chief post due to the BCCI's rule of retirement at 70 years for all the office bearers. On 18th October, 2022, he succeeded Sourav Ganguly as BCCI's 36th president.
In Binny' regime as the chief, The Indian Men Cricket Team won the 2024 T20 World Cup and 2025 Champions Trophy while will always be in the hearts of the Indian fans.
