Virat Kohli Becomes 2nd Highest Run Getter In ODIs
Indian superstar Virat Kohli surpassed Kumar Sangakkara to become 2nd highest run getter in the ODIs during the 3rd game against Australia in Sydney on Friday. He scored a steady 74 off 81 balls after two ducks in the first two games which also saw him stitching a fantastic 168 run partnership with Rohit who made a dashing 121* off 128 balls, helping India to win the final game of the series by nine wickets and 69 balls to spare.
Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara finished his career with 14234 runs in 380 innings while Virat is standing at 14255 runs in just 293 runs, averaging a staggering 57.71 (highest by any better with 150+ innings).
