This page explains how Skyblogs researches, writes, updates and corrects its sports coverage. It applies to every article published on Skyblogs.in.
Our aim
We want to give sports fans accurate, clear and useful coverage: news they can rely on, records and stats they can reference, and buying advice that is genuinely helpful.
Sourcing and fact-checking
- We check scores, statistics, squads and records against official sources wherever possible, such as governing bodies (ICC, BCCI, FIFA, BWF and others), tournament organisers and official scorecards.
- When we report news first published elsewhere, we credit and link to the original source.
- We do not publish rumours as fact. Unconfirmed reports are clearly described as such.
- Opinion and analysis pieces are clearly distinguishable from news reporting.
Bylines and dates
Every article shows the name of the writer responsible for it, linked to their author page, along with the date it was published. When we make a significant update to an article, such as refreshing a records list or points table, we update the date shown so readers know how current the information is.
Corrections
We correct factual errors as quickly as possible once we know about them. For a significant error, such as a wrong result, statistic or name, we add a short correction note to the article explaining what changed. Minor fixes to spelling or formatting are made without a note.

Use of AI tools
Our writers may use AI tools to help with tasks such as research, summarising data or checking grammar. Every article is written or reviewed, fact-checked and approved by a named member of our team before it is published, and that person is responsible for its accuracy.
Independence, advertising and affiliates
- Skyblogs is funded by advertising and affiliate commissions. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no say over what we cover or what we write.
- Buying guides are based on product features, specifications, prices and user feedback. Affiliate links are disclosed, as explained in our Disclaimer.
- Sponsored content and paid partnerships are always labelled as sponsored.
- We do not accept payment to publish links, and we do not promote betting or gambling services.
Forum moderation
The Skyblogs forum is written by community members, not by our editorial team. We moderate it under our Community Guidelines and remove spam, promotional links and content that breaks the rules.
