Indian veteran test cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara retired from all forms of cricket today. He announced this tough decision to leave cricket via a post on social media in the morning.

Making his India debut in a test against Australia in 2010, he finished his glorious test career with 7195 runs in 103 tests at an impressive average of 43.60, which is also laced with 19 centuries and 35 fifties. His career best of 206* came against England in 2012 in Ahmedabad. The losing test championship final against Australia in 2023 at the Oval was his last outing for India.

The 37-year-old also represented India in five ODIs between 2013 and 2014; however, he failed to retain his spot in the side, making only 51 runs.
