The best left-hand specialist batsman for the Men in Green, Tamim Iqbal holds the record for scoring the most ODI runs for Bangladesh. He made his One Day debut against Zimbabwe in 2007 and since then has played 243 games where he has amassed 8357 runs at a decent average of 36.65, including 14 tons and 56 fifties. His 158 runs knock against Zimbabwe in 2019 is the 2nd highest by any Bangladeshi. 

Mushfiquir Rahim 

Mushfiqur Rahim is one of the oldest cricketers who has been carrying the team on his shoulder for a while now. With 7755 runs he sits in 2nd position on the list of most ODI runs for Bangladesh. His massive tally of runs comes at a nice average of 36.75. Rahim plays with class and often depends on timing to send the ball over the boundary. The short height but tall stature batter has 9 centuries and 49 fifties in his feather. 

Shakib Al Hasan 

Hailed as one of the best all-rounders to play cricket, Shakib Al Hasan has made the 3rd most ODI runs for Bangladesh. He has not only amazed the fans with his batting prowess but is brilliant with the ball too. The Southpaw has aggregated 7570 runs in 247 games, averaging an impressive 37.29. He made the 2019 World Cup of his own by being the 3rd highest run-getter in the event with 606 runs in 8 games. Moreover, he has bagged 317 wickets at a commendable average of 29.83. 

Mahmudullah

Mahmudullah has been a key contributor for Bangladesh in their middle and lower order. Having made his debut in 2007 against Sri Lanka, he stretched his career to 2023 and accumulated 5385 runs in 231 games at 35.9. His strike rate may be as low as 76.95, however, he took the bowlers to cleaners often in his white-ball career, assisting him to hit 28 fifties and 4 centuries.
