Mithali Raj

Former Indian captain Mithali Raj holds the record for the most runs in the Women’s Asia Cup ODI. Having played 21 matches across four editions from 2004 to 2008, the ace batsman has made 697 runs at a staggering average of 99.57. She had four 50s and two 100s in her name with 109* off 92 balls against Bangladesh being her best. Mithali was a part of the Indian team that won all the ODI versions of the Women’s Asia Cup ODI. 

Jaya Sharma

Former aggressive Indian opener Jaya Sharma gets 2nd place on the elite list of most runs in Women’s Asia Cup ODI. Appearing in 14 games for India in the event, she accumulated 560 runs, averaging an impressive 50.90. She smashed 4 fifties and 1 ton in the competition. Jaya smashed her highest score of 138* against Pakistan in the 2005-06 Asia Cup. 

Dedunu Silva

Ex-Sri Lankan batter Dedunu Silva had an international career of 48 matches across formats. The decent batsman scored 555 runs in 20 outings at an average of 29.21 with the help of six fifties. 

Shashikala Siriwardene

One of the greatest all-rounders from the Sri Lankan team, Shashikala finds herself in 4th place on the elite list of most runs in the Women’s Asia Cup ODI. Featuring 22 matches in four editions, the classy batsman made 422 runs 1t 19.90. She has only one fifty under her belt. Along with batting, with her effective off-spin bowling, she bagged 27 wickets.
