Inzamam Ul Haq

Former Pakistani skipper Inzamam Ul Haq dominates the chart for making the most ODI runs for Pakistan, 11701 runs in 375 games. Inzamam had a long career of 16 years(1991-2007), maintaining an average of 39.53 was tough in the era he played. The healthy batsman hit 83 fifties, which is the highest among Pakistanis in ODIs. 

Mohammad Yusuf

Classical batsman Mohammad Yusuf occupies the 2nd spot on the list with 9554 runs in 281 matches at a captivating average of 42.08. Yusuf would play with a high backlift and could play all cricketing shots with elegance, be it straight drive, cover drive, flick, etc. Yusuf amassed 1430 runs against India in ODIs in 44 matches, which was his most against any team in the format. 

Saeed Anwar

Playing aggressive cricket in the late 90s reminds us of Saeed Anwar, who gets 3rd place in terms of accumulating the most ODI runs for Pakistan. Between 1989 to 2003, the southpaw represented Pakistan in 247 ODIs, scoring 8824 runs at an impressive strike rate of 80.67,  keeping this strike rate in those days was unreal. Saeed Anwar made 194 off 146 balls against India in 1997 was the highest score in ODIs until Sachin broke it in 2010 with the first double hundred in the format. 

Babar Azam

Among active cricketers, Babar has the most ODI runs, 5729 runs in 117 matches. The ace player became the fastest batsman to score 15 ODI centuries in just 83 innings in the 2nd ODI against Australia in 2022 in Lahore.
