Babar Azam Fastest ODI Century-Pakistani ace batsman Babar Azam became the fastest batsman to hit 13 ODI centuries during the first ODI between Pakistan and South Africa at Supersport Park, Centurion on 2nd April in just 76 innings. Babar scored his 13th century by hitting a four in the mid-wicket off Anrich Nortjeโs ball. In the match, he amassed 103 runs in 104 balls to help Pakistan to chase down 274 runs target set by South Africa.
Babar Azam also got the Man of the Match award for his outstanding century (103).
The previous record of scoring the fastest 13 centuries in ODI was of Hashim Amla’s (83) innings. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the 2nd fastest to hit 13 ODI centuries in just 86 innings and the 3rd quickest to hit 13 ODI centuries was Quinton De Kock (86) innings.
