During the 2nd day of the ongoing 2nd test in Delhi, Shubman Gill went past legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli as he scored his fifth test ton as skipper in just 12th innings on Saturday, a fluent 129* off 196 balls. While former test great Virat Kohli achieved the feat in 18 innings.
Only Alastair Cook and Sunil Gavaskar have made five test centuries as captain in fewer innings, the former took only 9 innings whereas Gavaskar needed 10 innings for the feat.
