Ace Aussie off-spinner Nathan Lyon surpassed Glenn McGrath to became the second highest wicket taker in tests for Australia during the second day of the 3rd Ashes Test in Adelaide on Thursday.
With the twin dismissals in his first over, he overtook McGrath's tally of 563 wickets in the longest format of the game. Lyon now has 564 wickets in 261 innings in tests and he is only behind legendary leg spinner Shane Warne who had 708 wickets in his name.
