Martin Guptill

It was the special occasion of the quarter final of the 2015 ODI World Cup when Guptill decided to tore down the Caribbean bowling lineup, mustering unbeaten 237 off 163 deliveries batting the entire 50 overs in Wellington. The classy batter charged West Indies with 24 boundaries and 11 over boundaries. However, Jamaican Andre Russell alone leaked 96 runs in that match as New Zealand piled up 393 runs at the end of the innings.
Virender Sehwag
The synonym of destruction in cricket, Virender Sehwag claims the 3rd spot on the premium highest individual score in ODI tally. Having made 219 runs off 149 balls against the West Indies in Indore in 2011, Sehwag became the 2nd batsman in ODI cricket history to get a double ton. The Delhi born opener showed no mercy on the West Indian bowlers, clobbering 25 fours and sending the ball over the rope 7 times. Sehwag’s spectacular knock led India to set their highest ODI score, 418 for 5.
Chris Gayle
One of the batting greats to make the game entertaining, Chris Gayle finds himself in the 4th position on the chart of highest individual score in IPL with 215 runs in 147 balls against Zimbabwe in Canberra in the 2015 ODI World Cup. Such is the aura of Gayle that if he starts connecting the ball well, there is no stopping for him until a miraculous delivery gets him out. Same damage occurred to Zimbabwe, the self proclaimed “Universal Boss” bashed 16 sixes to achieve the three figure mark, which is the joint most sixes by a batsman in an ODI innings.
Fakhar Zaman
The only Pakistani batsman to smash a double century in ODI, Fakhar Zaman accumulated unbeaten 210 off 156 balls against Zimbabwe, which is the 5th highest individual score in ODI. Zaman looked dangerous from the very first delivery and hit 24 fours and 5 sixes to make Zimbabwe bowlers look helpless. Zaman alongside with his opening partner Imam Ul Haq, who also made 113 shattered the highest opening partnership record of 286 runs by stitching a 304 runs opening stand. Carnage sponsored by Zaman and Imam assisted Pakistan to register their highest ODI score of 399.
