Anil Kumble

Kumble got 92 wickets in 19 matches with an impressive average of 30.59. He used to bowl a bit quicker than the other spinners, which gave him a little advantage in bowling. Ravichandran Ashwin

Bishan Singh Bedi

The former slow left-arm bowler, Bishan Singh Bedi has taken the 4th most number of wickets in tests against England with 85 wickets in 22 matches. He was one of the best spinners of the 1970s. Having led India on few occasions, Bedi played 67 test matches for India and bagged 266 wickets, averaging 28.71 with the ball. Once he scalped 6 wickets against England in an innings to skittle through their batting order. 

Kapil Dev

The ex-Indian captain Kapil Dev has occupied the 5th position in terms of taking the most wickets by a bowler in tests against England. The outswinger bowling all-rounder grabbed 85 wickets in 27 matches with a captivating bowling average of 37.34, while he amassed 1355 runs with the bat. 6 for 91 was his best performance against the British batsmen. At the completion of his career, Kapil Dev had 434 wickets and 5248 runs in his account.
