Most Wickets in CPL History

Dwayne Bravo

Some names spring to mind when we think of West Indian players. Dwayne Bravo is unquestionably one of them. The T20 superstar is one of the best all-rounders in the shortest format, capable of both the bat and the ball. With his change-ups and slower pitches, he makes it difficult for batters to select him. He is at the top of the list in the CPL with 100+ wickets. Bravo has 128 wickets at an average of 22.23 and an economy rate of 8.64 in 101 matches.

Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine is a valuable asset for any team in the world, not just the CPL or the West Indies. Narine has always performed better after playing in numerous leagues. He has previously played for Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League. Narine has appeared in 105 matches and taken 111 wickets with an average and economy of 19.78 and 5.41, respectively.

Rayad Emrit

Rayad Emrit has consistently been a surprise bowler in the CPL. He made his debut in 2013 and continued to play until the 2020 edition. He has played for three CPL franchises: the Barbados Tridents, the Guyana Amazon Warriors, and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He has 96 wickets in 85 matches at an average of 22.75 and an economy rate of 7.64. 

Sheldon Cottrell

Sheldon Cottrell is a powerful left-arm bowler who can devastate any batting order. His quickness and accuracy have always astounded everyone. In 2013, he made his CPL debut for the Antigua Hawksbills. He has previously played in the Caribbean Premier League for the Antigua Hawksbills and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Cottrell has taken 87 wickets in 75 games, at an average of 21.57 and an economy of 7.60. 

Krishmar Santokie

Krishmar Santokie, with seven CPL seasons under his belt. He made his CPL debut in 2013 with the Guyana Amazon Warriors and has since represented four franchises. He has previously represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, and St. Lucia Zouks. Santokie played 58 games and took 85 wickets with an average and economy of 19.90 and 7.59, respectively.
