Ravindra Jadeja scripted a record, Rohit’s controversial decesion

On Saturday, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scripted a record in the ongoing 1st match of India vs Sri Lanka in Mohali. Jadeja amassed 175* off 228 balls with the help of 17 boundaries and three sixes which propelled India to post 574 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. Now, Jadeja holds the record of scoring the most runs batting at No 7 for India in tests, Succeeding Kapil Dev’s 163.

Jadeja came to bat when Shreyas Iyer got out of Dhananjaya De Silva’s bowling. He possessed with clarity of taking India to an invincible total in the first innings. Dedication, discipline, sincerity, and responsibility sum up the innings of the great all-rounder, the rockstar of world cricket, Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja stitched three big-century partnerships along with Pant, Ashwin, and tailender Mohammad Shami for the 6th, 7th, and 9th wicket.

But controversy has erupted as Captain Rohit Sharma declared India’s innings while Jadeja was batting at 175*, maybe due to the Cramp of Mohammad Shami, who got hit by a fielder of Sri Lanka mistakenly. Could India wait for 30 more minutes? as they could easily bundle Sri Lanka with the help of Ashwin, Jadeja, and Jayant trio. Cause one does not get the opportunity to get a double hundred every day.

The conclusion of the match will speak everything, if India could easily get rid of Lanka in both innings then skipper Rohit Sharma has to face a tough time answering the media and logical critics regarding the declaration while Jadeja was nearing 200.
