Top Unsold Players List in IPL 2022 Auction

Suresh Raina

Known as Mr.IPL, Suresh Raina’s name has made chaos in the cricket fraternity as he went unsold despite being presented twice in the 2022 mega IPL auction. Having a base price of INR 2 Cr, Raina justified it as he has amassed 5528 runs in 205 matches. It is for the in the IPL history, Suresh Raina will not play in the IPL. CSK fans at least expected them to bid for him, as he has been a savior for CSK. So, Suresh Rania is the most deserving and popular IPL player but unfortunately he is on the top list of Unsold Players in IPL 2022 Mega Auction

Shakib Al Hasan

One of the most prominent players of T20 cricket, Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Al Hasan was also unsold in the 2022 mega IPL auction. It is unbelievable that the top all-rounder in the ICC T20 ranking list did not get a team. The number of Shakib is phenomenal in IPL. In 71 matches, he has taken 63 wickets and scored 793 runs. The news has broken the heart of Bangladeshi fans and other admirers of the premium all-rounder.

Steve Smith

Steve Smith is the third big name who slipped to the list of unsold players in the 2022 IPL mega auction. Smith has never faced such issues in the auction, he is someone who can give you a good hold on the top order and keep the scoreboard ticking. His absence in the 2022 IPL will surely hurt the fans. With a decent average of 34.5, Smith has accumulated 2485 runs in 133 games.

Eoin Morgan

Eoin Morgan, does this name needs any introduction, I don’t think so. Morgan is a white ball specialist, can give decent weight to any middle-order lineup. Due to their poor show in the recent international matches and last IPL stint with Kolkata Knight Riders, no one dared to pick him up in the mega auction.

Mujeeb Zadran

One of the best T20 bowlers in the globe, Mujeeb Zadran was also ignored by the IPL franchises. From 2018 to 2020, he played for Punjab Kings, and later in 2021 Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for INR 1.5 Cr. The franchisees have made it hard to predict the reason behind not picking Mujeeb. Zadran did not draw attention may be due to the high base price of 2 Cr. The Afghan cricketer has bagged 19 wickets in 18 matches.
