The Champions Trophy will return in 2025 after eight long years since England and Wales hosted it in 2017. Pakistan will host the mega ICC event from 19 February to 10 March. They have earned the right to host their first ICC event since the 1996 World Cup, and UAE will host India’s matches.
Eight teams will battle throughout the tournament to claim the famous white jackets on March 9th. Group A consists of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, and Group B is made up of Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.
Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule Venue
Three cities in Pakistan will host the games- Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
Pakistan will face New Zealand in the event opener on 19th February at the National Stadium in Karachi while India will play their first match against Bangladesh on the second day, 20th March at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
The mother of all clashes India versus Pakistan is scheduled to take place on 23rd February at the Dubai International Stadium.
The two-time Champions Trophy lifter Australia will begin their campaign against England on the 22nd of February at the Gaddafi Stadium in Karachi.
The first semi-final will be played on 4th March in Dubai whereas the second semi-final will take place the next day on 5th March in Lahore.
The grand finale to lift the silverware is slated for the 9th of March at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. However, if India qualifies for the finals, Dubai will host it.
All the matches will start at IST 2.30 pm.
