The 2022 T20 World Cup was played in Australia from the 16th of October to the 13th of November. Sixteen teams participated in the 8th edition of the tournament across 56 games. He played all six games and made 296 runs with four fifties, including the match-winning knock of 82* off 53 against Pakistan at the MCG. Delhite was instrumental in taking India to the semi-finals of the competition. 

Max O’Dowd

Dutch opener Max O’Dowd gets 2nd place on the list of most runs in the 2022 T20 World Cup. At an impressive average of 34.57, the right-hand batter amassed 242 runs. He was also a part of the historical match against South Africa which the Netherlands won by 13 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav

Another Indian who finds himself on the premium list of most runs in the 2022 T20 World Cup is Suryakumar Yadav. The charismatic batsman took on every bowling on his way aggressively and accumulated 239 runs in 6 matches at a staggering strike rate of 189.68. 

Jos Buttler

Without the batting exploits of Jos Buttler, England would not have won the 2022 T20 World Cup. The skipper of the England team creamed 225 runs in 6 innings at an impressive average of 45.00. His highest score of an unbeaten 80 in 49 balls emerged in the Semis against India in Adelaide.
