The right-hand batter has hit 120 fours, which is the highest by any batter in women’s T20s. Bates has made eight 50s in the T20 World Cup to date. 

Meg Lanning 

One of the best batters in women’s cricket, Meg Lanning cements 2nd position on the chart of most runs in the Women’s T20 World Cup. From 2012 to 2023, Meg Lanning played 6 T20 World Cups and scored 992 runs in 35 matches. So far, she has struck the bowlers at a strike rate of 112.72. Meg Lanning has led Australia to win 4 t20 World Cups, in 2014, 2018, 2020 & 2022. 

Alyssa Healy

Australian wicket-keeper batter Alyssa Healy is featured in the 3rd spot on the list of the most runs (941) in the women’s T20 world cup. Healy opens the innings for the Australian women’s team and is an aggressive batsman. She slams the bowlers at a staggering strike rate of 128.37, which is the highest in the women’s T20 World Cup history. 

Stafanie Taylor

West Indian all-rounder and the latest skipper of the West Indian women’s team, Stafanie Taylor finds herself at the 4th place on the list of the most runs in the T20 World Cup. Stafanie has almost all T20 World Cups and amassed 926 runs in 31 matches at an impressive average of 37.04. In the 2016 T20 World Cup, she led her team to win the wear the crown for the first time. 

Charlotte Edwards

The first women’s T20 World Cup-winning captain, Charlotte Edwards, scored 768 runs in 24 t20 games in the T20 world cup. Edwards has smacked 5 fifties in the marquee tournament, the joint end most by any player. Her strike rate may not impress you but the average is a phenomenal 36.57.
