Indian opener Rohit Sharma leads the chart of most T20 centuries in international cricket. The Mumbai-born is the first-ever batsman to smash 5 centuries in the shortest format of the game. His maiden ton came against South Africa in 2015 in Dharamshala, 106 off just 66 balls. He scored his 5th century against Afghanistan in 2024, amassing a spectacular 121* in 69 deliveries. 

Glenn Maxwell (4)

Australian hard-hitter Glenn Maxwell recently equaled Rohit’s record of most T20 centuries in international cricket when he hit a match-winning unbeaten 104 off 48 balls against India in Guwahati to chase down 223 runs target in a last-ball thriller. The trailblazer smacked his maiden hundred against Sri Lanka in 2015 in Pallekele en route to a breathtaking knock of 145 off 65 balls opening the batting for Australia. 

Suryakumar Yadav (4)

Probably India’s only T20 specialist batter, Suryakumar Yadav has slammed 4 centuries in 60 games in his short career of 3 years, the joint most T20 centuries in international cricket, With an innovative approach, the charismatic batsman maintains a strike rate of 170+ in the format. Yadav touched his first 100-run mark during India’s game against England in Nottingham in 2022 although India lost the game despite Surya’s heroics of 117 off 55 balls. 

Babar Azam (3)

Current Pakistani skipper Babar Azam possesses class and timing rather than striking the ball hard. But his knack for playing long innings has helped him to make 3 centuries in T20 internationals. Stepping into the international arena in 2016, he has amassed 3485 runs in 98 innings at a dashing average of 41.48.
