Smriti Mandhana
Smriti is a left-handed batsman who was the only Indian player to be named in the ICC Women’s Team of the Year 2016. For the year 2013-14, she won MA Chidambaram Trophy by BCCI for best woman cricketer. With her batting show, Smriti got a contract with the Brisbane Heat team in the Women’s Big Bash League in 2016. Jhulan Goswami
Jhulan Goswami is known as the “bowling warhorse” of the team. She made India’s debut in 2002 and has been leading the bowling unit successfully. Goswami was once the fastest bowler in women’s cricket history.
In 2007, Goswami won the “ICC Women’s Player of the Year“. She was titled with the Arjuna Award in 2010 and the Padma Shri award in 2012. Jhulan has been an inspiration to the generation of women cricketers. From 2008-2011, Jhulan is the leading wicket-taker in Womens’ ODIs in the world (195) and is just five wickets away from becoming the first woman cricketer to bag 200 wickets in ODIs.

She is the first woman cricketer selected from the Gujarat team for the Indian Women’s cricket team. Taniya Bhatia made her debut for India Women’s cricket in February 2018 in South Africa. She is from Punjab. In her 2nd OD Taniya lifted India to a respectable total with 66 runs in ball 68, her maiden international 50. Under former India wicketkeeper-batsman Kiran More’s supervision, she was at a special training camp at the National Cricket Academy for wicket keeping. The International Cricket Council(ICC) named Bhatia as one of the five breakout stars in women’s cricket in 2018.
