By participation, viewership, and craze cricket is the biggest sport in India, and playing for the country gets a player celebrity status. Earlier, cricketers became rich only by playing at the highest level, but nowadays the IPL looks after their financial stability too. It is no surprise that many of them spend part of it on cars, after years of hard work and dedication.

• Lamborghini Urus: bought in March 2022 for about INR 3.15 Cr ex-showroom, a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 SUV with 666 bhp. Reports also say he added the newer Urus SE (around INR 4.57 Cr).
• BMW M5: a high-performance sedan worth around INR 1.99 Cr.
• Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d: bought in February 2022, a luxury SUV with a 3.0-litre diesel engine.

MS Dhoni car collection

MS Dhoni played for India from 2004 to 2019 and is the only captain to win three different ICC trophies. • Ferrari 360 Modena: a 3.6-litre V8 with about 400 hp, given to him by Fiat in 2002 after he matched Don Bradman’s 29 Test centuries.
